my aunt is doing a book on our family history we have pictures of ardifniane castle on the river suir. we are told that our family name came from De Prendergast, Prendergast and Pendgraft as we go by. we have information on the first generation as james de Prendergast who was born in northern mayo, ireland. my husband will be travling to Ireland to Cork? and we were hopeful that we may get some information while he is on his business trip. we live in Minnesota. We are very interested in any information that we can find.
