Your mention of Killbuck, Ohio caught my attention. My husbands G.G.Grandparents were Isaac Purdy and Hannah Morgan Purdy. They came from Wayne co,PA; probably Purdyville in the 1820. They are both buried in the Oak Hill Cemetery there in Killbuck.
Wonder if you tie into this family.
They had Eunice, Matilda,Aaron. Emily, Sarah, STEPHEN (my husbands line), Elden & Minerva Ann.
We were in Coshoctin last summer and went to the cemetery there and were unable to find Isaac & Hannah's grave.
Also looking for informaton on a Peter McDarmant or Dormant, who witnessed Isaac's will. Stephen Purdy married Jane McDarmant in Sept. 1840 in Coshoctin.

Hi, do you know if your Isaac Purdy and Hannah Morgan Purdy are origionally part of the Vermont Purdy's? I have A David Purdy born 1800 in Vermont who married a Rachel (Maybe Rose) whose farther is from Wayne Co, PA. David was born in Vermont but then disappears. We think he might be in Ohio in 1830 but is in Marshall Co, IN in 1850 which is where he died. This family ties in, I am sure. My David has an Issac and a Stephen. Julie Purdy, California
