Hi,
My great grandmother married a William A. Purdy. (i'm pretty surethe"a" was Albert. Her name was Mary. I believe they married in Canada and then moved to Michigan.
My grandmother was Lettitia (LuLa) Isabelle Purdy-married Scott/Vandebrink.
She had a brother named Walter who lived and died in Central lake, Michigan.
i do not have international ancestry so my capabilities are limited. Anyone out there related?

death records should help... I'll work on it... might take some time so be patient, ok? there are other researchers you there that just may have the info you're looking for or - it may be a new branch of the line that came over just about that time.

old census records... his death certificate - all that should shed some light on where he was born.

I spent all my summers with realitives in Fontanelle, so I'm familure with a lot of the people (they also were born and raised-and stayed there,) so the connections are great (everyone knows everyone.)
