Hi, I noticed your Shanagolden connection....I'm not aware of any Purtell's in my line, however, my ancestors (John and Margaret Dunne) emigrated from Shanagolden Parish, County Limerick, to Binghamton, New York, about the same time as your ancestors - 1850. Have you found any other Shanagolden families who may have emigrated to the Binghamton area?
