I am looking for any information about Ellen Purtill born abt. 1846 in Windham Twp., Norfolk Co., Ontario, Canada. Parents were Robert Purtill (1808 – 1856) and Mary McCarthy (1821 – 1879), both parents died in LaSalette, Windham Twp., Norfolk Co., Ontario, Canada. Ellen married Thomas O’Connor, Feb. 6, 1866 in LaSalette. Thomas died Jan. 5, 1881 in Courtland, Middleton Twp., Norfolk Co., Ontario, Canada. Children of Thomas and Ellen were: Mary Catherine (b. Nov. 1, 1866), John Walter (b. July 10, 1868 d. Sept 21, 1894), Alice (b. July 7, 1870), Ellen (b. July 30, 1873), Rosanna Isabella (b. Oct. 11, 1875 d. Sept 3, 1876). I do not have any information about Ellen Purtill O’Connor following Thomas’ death in 1881.
