Surnames: Purtell, Pirtle Pirkle.
Need to find family of Nathaniel Purtell born about 1815 in Tennessee. Married Mathilda ???? Had following children Elizabeth, James, John, George, Nancy, David (my ggf), Charity. First five born in Tn and last two born. Stoddard County Mo. Possiby Nathaniel brother to a Jesse Purtell who also move to Mo, in same year as did Nathaniel Per 1850 Mo census of Stoddard County, Mo. (Jesse was listed as being born in NC and we suspect the Purtell family came to "Tenn from NC
