I have written records for the marriage of James Purtell and Bridget McGrath that were found at our library sale. The pages are worn and torn, but readable. The records include the births of their 9 children and the early deaths of 2 of the children. The couple was married in Binghamton, NY in 1857. I would like to pass on this information to anyone interested.
