Hello Gordon.......My Great Grandfather Patrick Quin Armagh was married to Ann McCart Down and they lived at 6 to 10 Noble Street Elswick Newcastle upon Tyne he died 1894 was born circa 1833.....He had a sister Margaret and another Mary Ann we are also in touch with a Thomas possible brother and through him a Felix another possible brother
As these names were repeated with his own children and then in turn with there children down to my generation......I was baptised Mary Patricia Quinn descended from my father Laurence son of James who was my grandfather and third child of Patrick Quin.......In the last few months I have been in contact with the descendents of Margaret and Mary Ann and I they have given my Patrick Quin's father and his mother Agnes Dalton......As I over Christmas I just became a great grandmother myself I find it awesome that there are eight generations from Patrick and Agnes to the new baby
There are many Quin's in Newcastle and although we started out with one n it became two n's at the turn into the 20th century Please email even if we are not related I have been resarching for a while about 10/12 years now.....and you never know I may have come across someone that is your connection
