I am searching for any information on Benjamin Quincy, who had a son John Quincy, who married Kesiah Hartshorm.

B.Quincy b. probably in Mass. married Sarah "Sallie" Hammond b. New York or Vermont- they married Jan 1, 1793 in Stanfordville, Dutchess, Ne(not exactly sure what "Ne" is) He died after 1801 in New York. She died after 1808 in New York. They had a son named John. this is all i think i have.

Benjamin Quincy and Sallie Hammond are my
grgrgr grandparents. And I think the Ne is for
New york according to my records.
They had 5 children and they are according to
first born: Hannah, Anna, Abigail, John, and
Polly. I have a little information on John and
Hannah and that is all. I would like to know who
their parents are. Would be glad to send other
information.

My sister and I have been looking for quite some time
for Benjamin's parents. So far we have not had
any luck. I would appreciate any information on his
children that you would have. We only have Benjamin
having one child, John,which is where we descend from.

I am looking for info. on Polly Quincy b. 1806 Boston. Does this sound like the Polly you know about? My Polly married Thomas Hartshorn , b. 1802 in Boston, that is all I know of them. I am descended from their son, Horace Hartshorn b. 1828 Erie, PA. Thanks, Noelle

The Polly Quincy you are looking for could be
the one I have but I am not certain as I have
Polly married to Horatio Hartshorn but I am not sure
about too many of the other details. I have her
parents as Benjamin Quincy and Sally Hammond.

Carolyn - thanks for the info. Since Polly and husband Hartshorn had a son named Horace it is possible that Thomas was the father's middle name, or perhaps Horace/Horatio is a middle name. Tina, I am piecing together my family, do you know if Keziah Hartshorn had a brother Thomas or Horatio married to a Polly Quincy? I think my Polly may be the sister of your John, son of Benjamin Quincy. I have seen Polly married to a Thomas and to a Horatio, do not know for sure if one is correct.

Keziah had a brother Horatio b. 11-9-1802
in Exter, Otsego, New York, married Elizabeth
(Pollie) Quincy 11-23-1824 in Erie Co. Penn.
He died 12-20-1879 in Tama Co. Iowa. Pollie
was born 8-3-1808 in Ticonderoga, Essex, N.Y.
She died 9-21-1902 in Tama Co. Iowa. I would
be happy to swap anymore info. with you. Talk
