I am looking for the whereabouts of Eddie or Edward Rathburn. He was the son of my great uncle Rufus Rathburn. Left home at an early age and was living in Los Angeles when last heard from. I am reasonably sure that he is no longer among the living, but perhaps there are children or grandchildren that has information

I have been unable to find the name of Mary Jane's husband. Tried looking for Rathbun's but still can't find them.
Phoebe Jane Rathburn

Phoebe Jane Rathburn was the daughter of William P. Rathburn and Mary Janes. She was born in Pennsylvania around 1848.

She was listed in the 1860 census as being in Crawford County Wisconsin with her family. The family moved to Lima Iowa around 1861 / 2. Her mother died in childbirth around that time in Lima.

She had sisters Lucenia, Isabella & Lucinda. Her brother Watson died in the civil war in 1864. Her father died in 1909 in Humbird Wisconsin.

There are a number of clues as to her marriage. My Grandmother said she married a man named Perins and moved to New Jersey. Other geneologists indicated that she married in Wisconsin and stayed there.

Any information on Phoebe Jane Rathburn would be greatly appreciated.

Trying to find out about fathers ancestors.

I am trying to find out about father family ancestors. My Fathers name is George Oliver Rathburn, he is now deceased. His father's name was William Rathburn, William married Rose Spiekman,I believe in Iowa. I have a cousin in California who has been doing some research on this matter and I believed she has traced our family tree back to the British Isles. My father George Oliver had 8 sibling,5 brothers and 3 sisters.Brothers names are William,David,Enoch Thomas,Charles and Raymond. The girls are Alice, Ella Mae and Hellen. I believed all my dads siblings were born in Iowa. All the boys served in WW2 together in the Navy. William is the only boy living and Helen and Ella Mae are the only sisters living. I have Relatives in California, Montana, Wyoming,Illinois and who knows where else. If you could provide any information about my ancestors please emial me or write me at 7514 Garnet apt.2, Shawnee, Ks., 66214. Thank you for taking time to help me out. Sincerely, Sid Rathburn
