Hi,
I'm also a Reidy descendent from Castleisland researching my family tree. Our branch of the family emigrated to New Zealand in the late 1800's.
My great-great-great grandfather was James Reidy (b1839)who married Elizabeth Walsh. They emigrated on the Invereine Nov 22 1873 to NZ with children Margaret b1867, Mary b1865. James's father may have been a Timothy Reidy.
I visited Castleisland last year and the also the Genealogy Library in Kerry but couldn't find any record of the marriage of James and Eliza so I've hit a dead end.
I'm hoping someone may have James in their family tree?
Thanks
