Surnames: Rhodes, Pratt, Flint
Hi, I am trying to find information on Benjamin Rhodes, father to John Rhodes b:1809, Wheldrake, Yorkshire. John and his wife Jane "Montieth" Flint travelled over seas to settle in Australia approx. 1851/52. I purchased their marriage certificate where Benjamin was stated as Johns father. I am trying to find who Benjamin married but am coming up a little empty. The closest I can find is a marriage between a Benjamin Rhodes and a Mary Pratt on the 1st of Oct, 1808 in Wheldrake. However, cannot find any information on Mary Pratt and as I have no other siblings for John have no idea if this is related. Can anybody help?
