Jacob RITTER, b. ~1808 PA -> MO -> IA -> OK -> NM -> OK
Does anyone recognize this family? I apologize for the misalignment of the columns.
1850 Census, St. Louis County, MO -- 26th Sept, 1850
Note: Clement is my GGrandfather
1567 Jacob Ritter 47 M Butcher 50000 Ind? (maybe MD)
Ellen 37 F PN
Francis 4 F Mo
Clement 10 Mnth F Mo
Mary Powell F Germany
Jacob may have had a brother by the name of William and sister by the name of Francis Marion. There was also a sister Laura who died when she was three years old (in MO). I also have some indication that Jacobs father's name was George, born about 1775 in MD.
Jacob's migration path was: PA -> MO -> IA -> OK -> NM -> OK
Jacob's family could also have been Dunkards.
My trail has grown cold (been looking for 18 years) so, please, can anyone help me out with information on this family line or any associated relatives?
Antone Ritter
