Hello Anne. I've just posted a message that might ring a familiar bell. My grandparents were Michael Galvin and Helen Roche, but they were from Kerry. They were born circa 1894. Helen's mother was Ellen Regan, married to Patrick Roche. I'm not sure which county they were from just yet. Also, I was in Killarney a few years ago and stopped at a place called O'Grady's Market because I thought I remembered my aunt mentioning that (or, as you said, "Grady" ). long story short, I went in and introduced myself and the woman put me on the phone with my mother's cousins! Now, I still don't know where rady came into this because I think the cousins last names were Roche, but this all sounds a lot like what you're inquiring about, don't you think?!
Helen also had a brother named Patrick. When Helen and Michael moved to the USA (separately) in 1913, they met, married, and had 7 children, most born in the 1920s.
That's sort of all that I have for now, but hopefully we can see if there's some kind of connection here!
