Its a bit late, but there are still Roches in Newcastle West.
As a kid I knew a Patrick,and Thomas, and as I looked up my own family tree, I found a William, I have not known a Richard, he could belong to another Roche in NCW.
The good news is Limerick genealogy is on line. At the moment it costs 5 euro for a certificate. Make sure you put in Newcastle West, and not Co Limerick. Also there maybe others born the same time, so be careful, and know your dates. Wishing you all the best, Rathkeal.
