Greetings, My sister and I had a MT DNA test done(both to verify results) and we have a direct match back starting with Polly Freeman born 1795 in Onondaga NY. Then her daughter Emily Elizabeth Freeman born 1817 in Onondaga also, married John Andrew Rose in 1844 in Colden NY. Their daughter Polly Rose born in Humphry NY. in 1853 married Thomas Thompson and moved to Hinton, Michigan. From there the Thompson family went out west, with no access to our ancestors. My maternal lines are as follows: Great great grandmother Cornelia Spanberg(maiden name unknown)married Charles, Great grandmother Elizabeth Spanberg(maiden name unknown),married Homer.My grandmother Ida Mary Roche(maiden name Spanberg) married William. Last but not least my mother Rowena Coleman(maiden name Roche).All of my ancestry are from NY where they must have met a Rose or Freeman. Any connection please?????
