I live in Sanibel Florida.... I actually went to the old Roche farm in Randolph County , Illinois. I used to live in Mo. and it was only a couple of hours away. The man who lived there was a cousin and it was pretty much the same as it was a 100 years ago.
John Roche bought it and married a Stipe.. The man living there showed me where she died, she had a stroke at the well.
They made the bricks for the house in the creek there and built with them. He gave me a brick.
What is your Roche ancestry, maybe we are cousins.
