I am researching the young men in our village of
Eastham, Wirral,
UK who died in WW1 and one of them was James
Roscoe. He was a pilot and died in an accident on August 6th 1918 and is buried in the churchyard here.
Does anyone have any information about James and his family that they would be willing to share with me?
From what I have managed to trace so far, James was the son of Charles and Mary
Roscoe from
Kirby Liverpool who appear to have emigrated to Canada with their family in 1911.
Any more information would be appreciated to help add a little bit more to the stories of the young men from the village.
Thanks
Tracey
