I am looking for information on Katherine Runner who lived in Lewis County, Canton, Missouri in the 1940's. She had six children, presumably with ________ Runner and gave all of them up for adoption sometime around mid 1951 it is believed...their names are Betty, Carol, Helen, Judy, Margaret Sue and William "Bill". She later moved to Illinois, (believed to be somewhere around East St. Louis, Illinois or Griggsville) possibly remarried and had two more known children...both are thought to have been girls. I don't think she gave them up for adoption, but raised them herself or with a spouse. It is thought that she was approximately 35-38 years old in 1949. It is thought that her husband was murdered somewhere around Kansas City, date is not known. There is known Indian descent somewhere in the family line, I am not sure if it was on the maternal or paternal side!!! Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
