Looking for info on birth mother of a friend for medical reasons

I am looking for information on Katherine Runner who lived in Lewis County, Canton, Missouri in the 1940's. She had six children, presumably with ________ Runner and gave all of them up for adoption sometime around mid 1951 it is believed...their names are Betty, Carol, Helen, Judy, Margaret Sue and William "Bill". She later moved to Illinois, (believed to be somewhere around East St. Louis, Illinois or Griggsville) possibly remarried and had two more known children...both are thought to have been girls. I don't think she gave them up for adoption, but raised them herself or with a spouse. It is thought that she was approximately 35-38 years old in 1949. It is thought that her husband was murdered somewhere around Kansas City, date is not known. There is known Indian descent somewhere in the family line, I am not sure if it was on the maternal or paternal side!!! Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

RUNNER surname project

Hi Runners and Runner family researchers,

I'm just starting up a RUNNER surname genetic genealogy project. One of the main goals of the project is to try to sort through all of the different RUNNER branches and to clarify how they are connected. My branch descends from Gottlieb Lauffer/Runner, who came to Maryland from Germany in the 1700s; his family eventually settled in Monongalia County, (West) Virginia. I'm trying to find participants from as many different branches of Runners and from as many different locations in order to be able to clarify how many distinct RUNNER families there are and where they live(d). The link below provides much more detail on the project; please email me for further information as well (jrunner1 "at" rochester "dot" rr "dot" com).

Thanks,

Jeffrey Thomas Runner
Rochester, NY

http://home.rochester.rr.com/jeffandjavier/RunnerDNASurnameP...
I am the great Granddaughter of George Runner native american, trying to rediscover my roots about where he originally came from. He passed on sometime between 1993-1996, All I know is that he was born in 1920-30 in montana and his father once was a Chief who went by the name Big Belly. George's wife Rosie Runner still resides on the Sarcee Reserve in alberta,canada......they have 6 kids 2 have passed on some years ago, he was a TeePee owner @ the calgary stampede and a well respected man. My point is I know he moved to Canada from the United Statesand as a little kid i always wanted to know where he came from, what happened to his family, Brothers sisters...it's all a mystery to me he's life and stuff. He might have family from as far as Arizona, and Montana. Just trying to find any one that might of known him or where he came from distant relatives might be good

Runner name origin

I am trying to pinpoint the country of origin for the Runner name. I have look on some sites and have found Germany, England and Ireland. The Runner's going back to at least my great-great-grandparents and I think a little further resided in Kentucky, primarily in Nelson county. I know that one of our early ancestors was named March Banks Runner. There was also a Benjamin Runner. Can anyone direct me as to the family name origin?

Thanks,

Tiffanie Vaught

Snudavilla Runner

I'm researching my grandmother's family. Her
marriage records identify her mother as
Snudavilla Runner and her father as William
Campbell. Her family was from Wheeling, West
Virginia. Other records say her mother's name was
Cinderella Peppin or Perkins. Please post a
reply with any info you may have. Thank you.
