All i can tell you is that Atticus was son of George E. and Premilia Long Russ.
Atticus half brother was Alton Russ and both were here in Wakulla County Florida.
They are connected to the Thomas Russ family of Woodvill, Wakulla County Florida.
Hope this can help us get this straight in our Russ family.

I am sorry i have shared with you in the passed. I am the great grandaughter of Goerge M. Russ, Emm's grandaughet.

Atticus Haygood Russ is laid to rest in the Thomas Cent in Woodville fl.
He was married to Amber Nix.
Not sure of the date of marriage.
Alton Thomas Russ had an Uncle Bert Thomas that lived in woodville.
Alton Married Iris Strickland.
Iris and Alton were married July 6, 1928 here in Wakulla Co, fl.
I think i was told that Alton died around 1952.
Children of Alton and Iris Strickland Russ.
Jackie, Tommie, Allide, Deloris, Alton jr.,
Earl and Gladys.
Gladys married Lenoard Crum here in Wakulla Co.
