I am searching for more info on Francis Seguin (and his wife Matilda). They may be my 4th great grandparents. I beleive he went by Peter except on important documents. Here is were I have found him in census:

NOTE: Judit Poventio is Matilda's mother according to a tree in Ancestry.com. The name should be spelled Judith Parenteau. Judith's maiden name is LaVelle.

My 3rd great grandmother is Julia Seguin who has a Peter listed as her father's name on her death certificate, no mother mentioned. There is no Peter in the Kankakee or Iroquois County, Illinois area. I think her father was Francis and he went by Peter.
She married September 6, 1874 in Iroquois County (the county below Kankakee) to Louis Joseph Ducat. She died in Chicago on April 21, 1917 in Lakeside Hospital. She is buried without a tombstone in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Can anyone connect with this Francis and place him in their family tree. Or does anyone have any info on him other than what I have here?
