My grandfather was William Ernest Sexton, born June 20, 1895. I know there were and are, I believe Sextons in Missouri. My grandfather's parents were John Thomas Sexton, Jr. who married Lula Ann Silvers born Dec 1, 1874. Anyone have any info. Thanks

Do you know if any of your Sexton's were in St. Louis. There are several there from the mid 1800's. Any connection to a Henry Clay Sexton?

No connection with a Henry Clay Sexton that I know of. Most of my family were from small towns, Sturgeon, Hallsville, etc. A brother of my grandfather, Clarence Hayden is the only one I have notes on who spend time in St Louis and I don't no any dates. He was born in 1902 and died in 1970.

I have a great grandmother Polly Sexton born in Puttman co. Mo. abt 1854 who married a General Perry Fredrick, does this sound like part of your family? I have not been able to find any other info on her other than her death date was 1926 or 1927 in Oklahoma

My grandfather was Theodore Codd Sexton. He went from Missoure to LA California then settled and married in the Detroit Michigan area. Last he moved to Beverly Hills Michigan near Southfield Michigan. Born 12-03-1901 and died in Royal Oak Michigan October 5, 1965. I'm researching the Poe-Sexton-Codd-Bradford families. Any help is greatly appreciated.
