Dear Sharon,Anything from Co Carlow I can not help you,its about 250 miles from me , Now about Owen, my Grandfather,and uncle were both named Owen, both born and died in Ireland. Would this help you in anyway, Owen is also spelt EOIN, both are IRISH for ( Eugene) , have you tryed Google .com you may get some info from there ,theres a lot of info about Ireland . What year did they arrive in NY Mary Shaughnessy was my mothers name M'OD
