Shields family from Ala to Tex
I have been hitting a brick wall for years. My greatgranfather, John Shields born about 1853 in Alabama moved to the area around Bell Co Tx with his wife Annie from Mahren, Austria about 1890's. They had 2 living sons, Edward (1892-1970) and Jasper (1892-1977). The only information I have found on John is the 1910 census. I have no idea what Annie's maiden name was. Please if anyone can help I will be greatful.
