I am looking for info regarding Mary Shubin b. abt.1858, d. abt. 1920. She was married to Andrew Peter Varonin.

Yes....I have information about Mary's family. Her great nephew John Michael was married to my first cousin. I don't have information the Shubin side....only the Veronin.

My great grandfather was Andrew Peter Varonin married to Mary Shubin. My grandfather (Andrew's son) was Joseph Andrew Varonin. The name Varonin was taken at the time of immigration. In Russia we were all Novikoff.

Hi Jack....I received notification that someone answered the query from Kristina.

I show Andrew Peter Varonin was married to someone with the initials of 'SN' after Mary's death. I found it on the CADI record for his death. Do you know when Mary died? I show Approx. 1920. As you may already know, I'm active on the Molokan message board. I've been researching the San Francisco Molokans from Potrero Hill. My grandparents lived on The Hill. During my research I kept adding on to the various families and eventually started collecting information of any them. George and Bill have also kept files chronicling the families.

Interesting that your family used to be Novikoff. Why did they change the name? My first cousin is Fae Papin Veronin.
