Surnames: Squire, Hicks
I am looking for any info on the Jake Squire and Irene Hicks family from Northampton County, Gaston or Garysburg, NC. Jake had 5 brothers,Henry,Lewis,Jim( last name Vincent?)John & Henderson and 4 sisters, Sue,Patcy,Amanda & India all from the same area. Their mothers name was Caroline Squire, fathers name unknown but may be Henry J. Squire.The surnames Vincent and Miles are closely associated with this family. Any info available on any of these people will be greatly appreciated.
