See Wilson Co., Texas 1910 census for Rebobath Children's Home near Floresville. Alma was from Kentucky and had been in charge of a Mr. Evans who abandoned her and others. In 1907 with the aid of Mrs. Evans, Rev. Spruce, a Holiness Methodist minister of Wilson Co., Texas built home for her and up to 19 others. It was operated as a school with outside students welcome. Manuscript of Mrs. Elizabeth Woolsey Spruce of Wilson Co., TX says Mrs. Evans lived at the home with her "five little ones". L (Not kin, just wanted to post)
