I am trying to find out any information about my grandmother Marjorie Stimson and her father Joseph Stimson. Marjorie lived in Portland Oregon. Any help would be great. Thank you

I read your message on the internet and I have some information, don't know if this is the same family that you are looking for, but without any dates, it is sometimes difficult to determine. I show a Joseph Proctor Stimson, III =born:Jan 26, 1890 in Chester, Connecticut, married to: Alice Chandler (birth date unknown). They were married in Springfield, Massachusetts in 1916.
They had a daughter by the name of Marjorie Alice Stimson, born in 1917, (birthplace unknown), married to Malcolm Steadman Worthing. Are these your grandparents?
Let me know if this is the correct line and I will help with whatever I can. I have an extensive genealogy on the "Stimson's in America" that my great grandfather and grandfather compiled. Their names were Fancher Stimson and Charles Warren Stimson.

Thank you for your reply, but I know this person John Diniro, as he is my nephew. I have been in contact with him and I have all the information that he is looking for, both personal and ancestral. Are you a Stimson? I am direct lineage from John Stimson 1605.

Oliver, yes I can talk for myself. My Aunt thanked you for your offer to help and was simply informing you that we found eachother. Several people responded that afternoon and I personaly sent e-mails thanking them. If I missed you..I am sure you can underdstand that after years of searching and finding about as close a relative as one can, I might have been sidetracked. So I thank you now for your interest, and ask that in the future you address any coments to me personally at raiderdogs@hotmail.com...As you should have in the first place concerning my grasp of the english language.
