I am tracing the Strickland Line from North Florida.(Concord, Gadsden Co.)
I am presently stuck on John Strickland whom I last found in the 1870 census in Gadsden County Florida, from which I got most of the info below. The dates for James M. and Joe C. come from family members/grave markers. I also found that he was married in Decatur Co., GA on August 12, 1853. source GRS 3.04 D3 1st. edition, Marriages, Decatur County, GA (1822-1899).

I know they later migrated to Wakulla Co, FL from Gadsden Co.. James M. remained in Gadsden Co. and Joe C. later returned and settled in Gadsden Co.

If anyone is interested I have info on a lot of the descendants but am interested in any ancestors. I'm willing to share what I have on descendants and would appreciate any input on ancestors or descendants. I would also be interested in any info on Lecicy Dalton.
