Surnames: Strother, Utterback, Kendall, Lundell
Various resources I have looked at indicate that Elias S. Utterback (abt. 1781-1857) married Peggy Strother (b. abt. 1777?). Maybe someone can address these questions:
Who were Peggy Strother's parents?
Was James Mason Strother actually their son?
My ultimate intent is to untangle the ancestry of Sarah Agnes Utterback, who married Edward Malcolm Kendall in Fauquier county in 1909. They had a daughter, Mayme Christine, who was my grandson's great-grandmother. Is that complicated enough?
