Information I have seen on Pleasant Sullivan's children just doesn't match the census records. The 1790 Greenville County, SC census has Pleasant's household with two free white males upward of 16 years (Pleasant and ?); two free white males under 16 years of age (Garrett and ?); one free white female; and one slave. I think it is likely that the other under 16 was my ggg Grandfather John Sullivan but don't know if I'll ever be able to know for sure. I know that John was born between 1780 and 1790 and lived among all the other Sullivans in Southern Greenville County. Pleasant Sullivan went to Anderson County in the early 1800s and later to Elbert County, GA where he died about 1840.
Any additional reliable information anyone has would be greatly appreciated.
