Reviewing Asotin County WA Atlas for 1914, for my other's family, I was very surprised to find a name from my father's side of the family -- from the late 1700s! A De Moville Talbot owned land in Asotin County WA; a nearby neighbor was H. C. Talbott. A Demoville (variously spelled) Talbot(t) in Fairfax Co VA married into the family of my oldest known Williams ancestor, George Williams (?-1794), from whom they inherited land in Bourbon Co VA, and moved there.
Talbotts's mother/s name was DeMourville -- I was surprised to see what is clearly a family name show up roughhly a centrury and a half later on the other side of the country. Does anyone have data on this De Moville Talbot in Asotin Co WA?
