Thomas Jefferson Thompson and Columbus Thompson from Scotland and TN

I am searching for my great grandfather Thomas Jefferson Thompson, born January 4, 1851, who immigrated from Scotland to Tennessee. He had a number of brothers including Columbus Thompson and Robert Thompson, a Memphis policeman. He went by the nickname of "J.T." and eventually moved to Arkansas and then Texas (Goliad and Cuero) and he died in Snyder, Texas on February 6, 1934. He married Mary "Molly" Elezibeth Rankin on February 25, 1875 in Goliad, Texas. They had a number of children. I am looking for any ancestors as the name of his Scottish immigrant father is unknown as well as the name of his mother is unknown who died when Thomas Jefferson Thompson was young. Thanks.
