Surnames: osborne; laswell; lasswell; taylor; vancill
my gggrandmother, silvania osborne was apparently tsalagi/cherokee indian. How would i find proof? also, i'm trying to find out about my ggrandmother, ella m. laswell, possibly last name of vancill or little. there has been rumours she was full blooded cherokee indian, but i dont know from what tribe. can someone help me? i dont even know if she really is indian. How would i find out the tribes from illinois, and harlan co., kentucky? maybe i can write to these tribes if they're still around. It would be back from the 1800's to1905.... also ella laswell married a dillard taylor.
