Need information on the Twist Family of the coal mining town of Pittston, Pa and Hicksville, NY. Our first family immigrant, Josiah Twist came from Lancashire ,England in 1876 to work in the coal mines and later married Mary. His daughter Minnie Jordan stayed in the Pittston area while the other siblings of Josiah, sons Daniel and Henry moved to the Hicksville, NY area in the 1920's to work around the railroad and sell coal. Henry's married Sarah Kidd with children are Myrtle, Robert, Marjorie, Vera and Milton. Daniel with wife Mary Ellen children are Oliver, Emylie, and Leslie Cheshire.
