My grandfather was Merwin L. Victory of New Orleans. I don't know if he could have been related to your grandmother. He was born 7October 1889 and died 27October 1964.

Katherine Lucinda Moss (Lou) was born September 1, 1894 in Barren Fork (now Mt. Pleasant), Arkansas. Her parents were Pinkney Louis Moss and Millie Webb.

Lou married John Victory June 1, 1918 in Tuckerman, Arkansas.

Lou and John produced the following children:

Earl (b: April 30, 1924)
Glenndean aka Dean (b: September 21, 1928)
Edna May (b: November 27, 1919)
Gracie Lee (b: March 1, 1921)
Mary Lillis (b: July 30, 1922)
Luther O'Dee (b: June 3, 1932)

Jack disappeared sometime after that.

Lou went on to marry J.P. Nelson, March 7, 1938 in Cushman, Arkansas.

Lou died July 14, 1972, Batesville, Arkansas. (I remember attending the funeral.) J.P. Nelson preceeded her in death, but there is no other info available.

With the exception of the death certificate I have all documentation. I also have Lou's ancestry back several generations and pictures that would be of interest to some. Please do not hesitate to contact me.
