Peter Edde had two daughters by first wife...they are Lucy Edde married John Post or Poste and Amelia Mildred Edde married Thomas Martin....Do you have any info on the two girls...Amelia was born about 1800 and Lucy the same....???

Willet's - Maine

Looking for information on Jasper Willet's parents in Maine.

Know Jasper's mother's name was Lena, middle initial E. (Maybe maiden name? Would like to know this also).
Have no information on Jasper's father except that he was both and died in Maine. Appears that he died at a young age sometime soon after Jasper was concieved (Around December of 1878) but before the census I found (Where it shows Lena as a widow) on June 7th of 1880.

Jasper had one full biological sister per the June 7th 1880 Maine census, name Dora.

Lena remarried (Dont know when) Per the census I found for June 6th, 1900. Hard to read her 2nd husbands name, something like Pelipf or Pilipf. Last name was Berce. They had 7 children together. At the time, Jasper was listed in the census with them as the step son as the age of 20.

In both of the Census I found, the family lived in Piscalaquis County , Maine.

Jasper later married Bertha Burbank. I have all the information that I need on Bertha's family, have just been hitting a brick wall with Jasper's family.

Any information anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.

My grandfather was named William Willett, born December 26, 1930, my grandfather had a brother that died at birth I think my mother Sandra D'Andrea ( nee Willett) told me, Sandra is WIlliam Willetts daughter, she was born October 23, 1950, amd my mother has a brother named Jacques Willett, born August 16, 1947, my grandfather was married to woman named Elsie Colon ( deceased), then my grandfather got with a woman named Marion , and they had a son named William Willett, Jr. and another son named Michael Willett, my mother does not remember her grandmother, which was my Pop-Pop's mother, but she remembers my Pop-Pops father, last time she saw my great-grandpa Willett was when she was 5 years old, the only thing she remembers about him was he used to give her Candy.....
Iam looking for any possible Willett relatives on my grandfathers side, oh my grandfather has a sister named Barbara Hubler ( nee Willett)....my great-grandfathers name was Milton Willett.....These Willetts would descend from Southern New Jersey....where my mothers from....

Can anyone tell me if Jane is Lucy Jane Kibbee Pinkston? My great uncle Greenberry Pinkston married a Lucy Jane Kibbee on 25 Dec 1868 in Isabella County, Sherman Township, Michigan. They had a son Benjamin born in October 1869 in Mecosta County, Michigan. They were on the 1870 Census dated 23 July 1870 in Mecosta, Hinton, Mi. Then 30 Decemcer 1870 they were listed again in Davis County, Davis Township, Kansas. They were living next door to Greenberry's parents Allen and Elizabeth Hill Pinkston. I never found Lucy or son Benjamin again. However in 1880 Greenberry is listed with his third wife Sarah M. Haley.

Lucy Jane was daughter of William N. Kibbee and Michelle W. Her siblings were Benjamin, John, Charles, Margaret N. and Horatio N.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Charles H. Springer died July 9, 2004 in Canon City, CO. He was born Sept 5, 1915 in Hale County, Texas to Earl R. Springer and Amy Alice Willet.

He married Mary E. Larkham in Roswell, NM on July 2, 1938.

He started a produce business as a young man, and later owned and operated the Valley Grocery Store in Hagerman, NM. He mananged hotels in Arizona before coming to Canon City.

He is survived by sisters - Clara Young, Josie Young and Viola Carroll; daughter - Martha Fancher; 4 grandchildren, 11 ggrandchildren and 3 step ggranchildren.

Preceded in death by his wife, parents, brothers Walter and Glen Springer and sister Nola Roberson.

Burial will be in Plainview, Texas.

WILLETT - The many friends of Mrs. Elizabeth A. Willett will be grieved to hear of her death which occurred last night at her home, 114 Butterfield street, after a brief illness. Besides her husband, Alfred T. Willett, she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Major Wright; one stepson, George F. Willett and three sisters, Mrs. Michael Rooney and Mrs. Arthur Bedfern of Fall River, and Mrs. Arthur Templeman of Lawrence; also two brothers, Thomas and John Moores of Fall River. The body was removed to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Major Wright, 148 Pawtucket street, by Undertaker Peter H. Savage Son.

I rescued a photo from a junk shop in Blair Co., PA. On the back is written "Uncle Charlie Willets family". The picture is of an entire family. One of the men in the family looks to be of possible Native American ethnicity as does who I presume is his son. The rest of the family (1 man- Uncle Charlie, 2 women, 7 kids) do not look to be Indian.

Hi!

I don't have much information to start off with, but this is what I know:

Wilfred was most likely born around 1880. I'm not to sure if he was born in Montreal, Quebec or anywhere else in the province.

I know he died in Montreal and he was probably buried in the Mont-Royal Cemetary.

I don't even know the name of his spouse. What I do know is that they had at least one child. Her name was Olive Irene Willet. Olive was born in 1908.

Does anybody know who the parents and the spouse of Wilfred are?

I'm really stuck... any information would be helpful!

Found a smidge of info in my available research material; Charles Willett b.11 Jul 1826 Seneca Co., N.Y. moved to Fulton Co., OHin 1839. m.15 Oct 1862 to Mary Ann Aldrich (d.1855) m.2nd.17 Aug 1856 to Lucy J. Aldrich (b.2 July 1838 Fulton Co., OH d.18 Feb 1880) They settled in Crystal, MI in 1865. Charles owned & operated a Mill till 1880 till it was destroyed accidentally. Listed is two children: Edgar C. b.ca 1858 & Ella R. b.ca 1860.

Looking for info on MARTHA ROULT, 12 yr. old living in Ross Co. OH with George Beman MD and wife, Ann Spencer Beman in the 1850 census. The Bemans moved to Decatur IL and show up on the 1860 with Martha. She is listed as "adopted" in George Beman's will in 1862.

Looking for why she is living with the Bemans and possible descendants.

There is a Willet Helmes who was called as a witness in a Montgomery County, New York Court case in 1797. He appears to be too old to have been the Willet/Jenks Helmes who married Sally Fairbanks. (A Samuel Helme, also not yet placed, was called as a witness in the same place in 1796.) Montgomery County is in the east-central part of the State, just north of Otsego County.
I wonder if this is your Willet. I have no other information on him.

Yes, I have a Willet Helme who's daughter Dorcas married Libbeus Crane around 1823 in Oneida County or Erie County, New York state. Willet was born in Kentucky. His wife was born in Pennsylvania. I have found Willet Helme on the land records for Western New York state starting in 1802. The last land transaction was in 1827.

If you have any information on Willet let me know. He may have been married more than once. Not unusual in those days.

Found a will in Rappahannock Co., VA for Easter or Ester Verlinda Willet Adams. Trying to find which ADAMS she was married to. Info in will is as follows:

Dated 1839, she says she is "an advanced age". Her estate was appraised 11 Nov 1839.

Seeking information on the Willet family from Brooklyn, Iowa from the time peroid 1875 on. Effie D. Willet was about 7 or 8 years of age in the family photo taken in 1882. We believe that the family bought a farm from Daniel M. and Ira A. Baker about 1915. Effie died about 1956-57 in Eugene, Oregon. Effie was married to Ira A Baker, son of Daniel M. Baker. They had four boys, Perry, Floyd, Elmer and Raymond and one daughter, Laura.

I am looking for information on a Ben Willet, he was born and raised in England. He came to Canada at the turn of the 19th century. He married 4 times and had a total of 37 children. While married to his first wife he changed the spelling of the name Willet to Ouellette. I am decended from his 26th child Godfois Ouellette from his third wife belived her name to be Rozette.
Godfois b. 1825 d. 1901 married twice had two sons Joseph and Louis from first marrage none from second. I any info on these people will be appreacted thank you
