Looking for parents of Derzelin GALLIEN born about 1908, family of Valerien BOULET m Maricelina DERUSSEAU July 29, 1869; and Athracite ELY born around 1820 married to Marie
Malina PEROT June 29, 1844, my grgrandmother their child:
Evalina Ely married Captain H.P.GALLIEN September 5, 1861.
Other wives of H. P. were Marie Amelia FREDIEU, Azemia TAUZIN. Derzelin and his son, H. P. were planters. H. P.
served in the Civil War for the Confederacy. Their homes
were burned. H. P. had a boat landing and lived near
Clarence and Campti after the Civil War. Would like to
exchange information.

married Narcisse Kerry(Ihave a lot more info on him if you
desire it).Narcisse's mother was Eliza Gallien, who was
married to his father Jean Bte. Kerry, they have 5 other
children besides Narcisse. Jean Bte.'s mother was Cephalide
Gallien who was married to his father Narcisse Kerry.
Cephalide's parents were Marie Celeste and Louis Gallien. I

I am from Natitoches Parish LA and I have a long line of reatives from this area. Not sure if Azemia Tauzin is related but could very well be. My dad was Aristide Tauzin and mother Lillie Mae. Rest of my family was James Victor, John Aristide, and Babara Ann. I do know my Grandfather was from Tauzin Island on the Red River near Grand Ecore.

My Great-Grandfather was Henry Leo Gallien from Natchitoches, LA. He was born in 1893. He had 2 brothers, John C. and Theodore (T.D.). I have two Alexander GALLIEN's in my file.

For the first, all I have is that he married a Victorine GALLIEN, who was the daughter of Jean Baptiste Hyppolite GALLIEN and Marie Euphemie GALLIEN. This Alexander is the son of Carles GALLIEN and Marie Agnes Aglae THOMASSEE. I have other children, etc. for Carles and Marie.

The other Alexander GALLIEN married a Marie DERBANNE (Daughter of Gilma DERBANNE and Nora VERCHER).

I have a Derzelin GALLIEN who married Marie Felonise LATTIER on July 14, 1828 at the home of Francois LATTIER in Natchitoches Parish. Marie was born Aug. 8, 1807 and died in 1864. I have that Derzelin's mother was Marie Jeanne CRETE.
