I too am researching that line. I am decended from John Collins Diltz, son of George William, son of Peter Kellerman, son of William, son of William Sr., son of John. I have nothing on the Heeter line and not much on Diltz other than recent info, but would be glad to share what I have.

My husband is a William Dilts and we have very good reason to believe that the John (Jr.) in this will is the father of his GGGGGrandfather Morris Dilts (1798-1888). Morris is buried in Shelby County, Indiana with his daughter Mary Dodds (1838-1884), but the following descendents of Morris are all buried in the Muskingum County, Ohio area: William 1824-1890, Clarence 1857-1935, Verge 1881-1912 & Clive 1911-1983. If anyone has information or records which does indeed connect this family with the Bedford Dilts’ please reply. I would also be interested in any information connecting them back to New Jersey.

I have had some research done on John(1730-1805)/Margaret They married about 1752 Hunterdon Co.NJ & moved to Bedford about 1780. Both died in bedford co;could not find cemetery.Bedford Co split around 1846 & they are in a new co it appears. This John is son of Johann Peter Dilts(1700-1770)/Elizabeth Maria Kalbitzer(1697-1786) who came to USA in 1727 - had first son Johannes on ship to USA. This is from memory so contact me at peachlover28@yahoo.com for more info
