All I know about the Vargas that I am descended from is that John Varga, my grandfather, married Margaret (last name unknown) and they lived in Michigan until approximately the 1940's or later. These Vargas originated from Hungary. Margaret and John Varga had two sons named John (my father) and Frank. I don't have any other information.

Hello my name is Val, my grandmother married
a Louis Varga in Bay City Michigan in around
1960, a few years later they moved to Florida
in 1981 my Grandmother (Elizabeth) died and
Louis lived in florida until his health no
longer permitted him to be alone. So his daughters
which lived in Ohio went to Florida to bring
him home to them in Ohio. I would like to
have any information on the where abouts of
Louis or when he died. He was with my Grand
Mother for years and took very good care of
her. When he moved to ohio we never heard of
him again. And since then my own Father has
died.
Thank You
Val

I have never heard of a Louis Varga in our family before. My Grandmother married John Varga. I don't know anything at this point about any other members of John Varga except he gave birth to two children, named John and Frank. I don't think your Louis Varga would be in my Varga family tree. But good luck!
AMhealy.

I don't know if this has any relivence, my Uncle Frank was Frank Louis Varga, but his brother was Andrew Varga and they had sister Margret, and Ida and one more that died at 16,unsure of name. They lived in Alpha NJ, then moved to Martins Creek Pa were their father ran a Company Store during the depression, unsure of his name. Frank and Andy were both very professional men, Andy was a lawyer and Frank was a pharmasist, they belonged to the Masons and were Eastern Star patrions. Frank was my great uncle but more like a grandfather, we were very close, he died last year. Andy died years before and he also attended Lehigh, Frank Temple University, Ida was a school teacher

My grandfather was Miklos Varga who immigrated from Matyashaz, Hungary. He lived in Pennsylvania untill his death in -75. He married Maria Kissel and they had four daughters, Margaret, Mary, Dorothy and Helen. One son, Andrew died shortly after birth.

My husband's grandfather was called Frank Varga. He was married to Eleanor and they had three boys. But, from what I understand he was a canadian citizen. We dont have any more information on him. Could he be related to John?
