I am looking for information about my great aunt Margaret Ada Hollns, born 1880 in Staffordshire, England. She was known as Ada or Adie and emigrated to Australia in 1899, arriving in Brisbane in February 1900. She sent relatives in England a photograph of herself taken at the Bain studios in Toowoomba. After that there is no information about her. Any help appreciated.

QLD BDM is online but I cannot see a marriage or death for her. Although deaths only go to 1964 so she may have died after that date.

Ancestry has Electoral Rolls to 1954. I did see a Margaret HOLLINS but not enough info to know if it is her or not.

Although some have CD's for VIC and SA which you could ask on those boards...althought you would be asked to post her date of birth and parents names.

anne , no i have not replied to you before ,however my hollins family were in cheddleton at the moseley hall .(sir hugh hollins ) etc . then a copwood hollins was at dilhorne hall d 1705. thenthey appeared in madeley ,keele area 1645 up to present day as the crow flies i am within 1 mile of silverdale ,keele area .i am hollins christopher56@hotmail.co.uk. however my father brother and myself have been on the hollins trail since 1987. it looks like there are 3 different hollins family in the kingsley ,cheddleton leigh area staffordshire. bye for now chris
