My Mother was born there back in 1941. Her Mother (my grandmother), Henrietta Coleman may have been born there, I am not sure.

Henrietta had a few siblings; a sister named Gertrude (who I think is still alive in Mansfield OH), and two
brothers, Trossie (who died in 2002 in Shrevesport, LA) and Ron (who I think is still alive in Chicago).

My mother passed away in Hawaii in 1994 and my grandmother passed away in Iowa in 1997.

I'm trying to find out who were Henrietta's parents are so I can get past that particular brick wall...I can't order a birth certificate without that info.

Any help would be deeply appreciated.

Was Coleman a married name or maiden name for Henrietta. When was she born? What was her husbands name?

Coleman is her maiden name. She was never married. She was born in 1926, in Rison.

You best bet is to read the census for the county especially back about 1880.
I would almost bet you that Coleman was listed as a mulatto which would open more doors for you.
Also, my advice is to go to the nearest Latter Day Saints Library-Mormon- and ask for help.
Sometimes they have great tidbits of information, something you would never think of.

Both Henry's and Hattie's (Harriet) parents were born in Arkansas. The siblings you mentioned may have been born after the 1930 Census. Hope this helps.
