I checked all the names on the log for your grandfather's name & unfortunately, his name does not appear. You might have the right ship but in a different time frame. My dad
left the ship in March 1945; perhaps your grandfather was
on this ship earlier in the war. An excellent resource for help is Matthew Loughran, historian for the N. Atlantic Chapter of the Amer. Merchant Marine veterans: his e-mail is Mattmerchmarine@webtv.net. He helped me out a lot during my search.
