Am looking for the birth parents of my uncle. He was born at Anderson Co., SC, October 1935. His birth name was George Wesley Gossett. He was adopted and his name was changed. He has been looking for his birth family for many years. We don't have much info, but what we do know goes like this:

Supposedly his parents were not married, but were planning to be married. The father, it is said, was killed in a vehicle accident, so they were never married. Am not sure if the accident was before or after the birth. We have assumed, because of the last name, that the mother is a Gossett, however I suppose it is possible that he was given his father's last name.

I don't know if the baby ever went home with the mother. I do know that my uncle was adopted at a very young age. There has been talk that it could have been a 'black-market' adoption, but that could just be talk. He was adopted by a couple that worked in Vaudeville.

If anyone has any info that would help "Uncle George" to find his birth family, it would be greatly appreciated!

Rose was married to Floyd Coole in Texas. While there they had 4 children: Candy Sue (1957), Clay Winslow (4/16/59), Terry Lynn (6/4/60), and Honey May (5/29/62). In 1964, Rose and Floyd moved from Texas taking Candy with them. They put the 3 youngest children up for adoption. Clay and Honey were adopted by the same family. I have two brothers adopted out. One brother born 1963 and one in 1953-1954. My other sister and I have begged our mother to give us the info we need to search. She refuses to help. Their first names MAY be {{NOT CERTAIN}} Terry Lynn and Danny or Daniel. The boy in 1963 could have surname of walker or taylor. The birth dates May be 16 Aug 1953 and 13 Feb 1963. The birth dates are NOT May 1956 –Jan 1957 (was pregnant with me), and its NOT late 1958- July 1959 (was pregnant with another sister).

I know that is not much to go on. Her maiden name was Taylor and she lived in Riverside Ca at the time of both births. Mother: Carol Ann Taylor DOB: 25 Feb 1937 Riverside CA. Carol has been married three times that I know of. Carol has Used names of Walker, Howard and O’Neil. She was 17 for first boy and 26 for second

Marfan disease runs HEAVY through the family with about half the family having it. It sometimes skips a person but then their children will still get it. There have been several deaths. If you do not have it but a offspring does that explains it. I can send anyone a letter about Marfans. Just email me and it is yours

Maternal Grandmother was Katherine Exa (yes Exa not Eva) Bussey Taylor 1913-2007 born in San Jacinto died in Hemet Ca. Maternal grandfather was Andrew “Clyde” Taylor 1914-1999 born in Kansas died in Riverside. Most people did not know his given name was Andrew because he only used Clyde.

The Taylors lived at the same address for almost 60 years and were married 65 years when Andrew passed away: 1739 Mathews St, Riverside CA 92507. Carol grew up there.

Carol abandoned my Sister Belinda Sue Walker and I there in 1963 and was gone without a word 8 years. She is an alcoholic. Carol has lived in California, Minnesota, Texas and who can guess where else. She is currently in St Paul Minnesota.

The baby born in 1963 may have my dad listed as father. Phillip Edward Walker (1933-1972), Born in Indiana and died in Sacramento CA. Although I do not believe Phillip to be the father. Carol and Phillip married in 1956 (she was very pregnant with me) and divorced in 1963.

Carol has admitted the boys several times but refuses to give any real info on them. I am sick about this, as she is very ill and 71. When she dies there goes the only person that really knows. My grandmother admitted on her deathbed (2007) that she knew about both boys and that Carol (her daughter) went to a “Laying in Home” (home for unwed mothers) for both baby boys. She claimed to remember no details.

Warren, Trumbull County, Ohio in August 1968. Her maiden name may have been Freeman, and she had two sisters. Her father was killed in a car wreck during the 1950s, and he was a pilot with the Army Air Corps during WWII. Birth mother was 21 1/2 yrs. old at the time she gave birth, and she'd worked as a licensed practical nurse. She may have been from Pennsylvania or Ohio.

He was born in Boise, Idaho April 14, 1931. Marvin and Iva Mae Casey adopted him when he was 1 day old and named him Merl John Casey.

His birth mother was said to be about 15 or 16 years old and from a prominent Boise family. The doctor that delivered him was Charles Sanford Allen. He also arranged the adoption.

Any guidance anyone can give would be greatly appreciated. We have already check with the Boise Children's Home and he was not adopted from there.

This was a bad time in my mothers life and she doesnt remember much but she has given me all the info she can remember and it has stuck with me since i was 12 yrs old. This is a life long dream and if you could help me you have no idea how much this will mean. I have written many talk shows and (no response) they dont help me. I know this is a long shot, but nothing else seems to be working, I know both of the parent's names, the boy's legal birth name, the name of the hospital he was born in, the home address at the time of birth, you would think with all of this I would be able to locate him, but nothing..... please respond with helpful hints of what I can do next. It is my understanding that my birth sister was about 16 months older than me and was given to the Miller family for adoption at about age, 10 months. She was born as Patricia Marie Mohrman and adopted by the Miller family of Littleton Colorado, in Arapahoe county. She was born in Presbyterian Hospital. Our father died May 1973. He never allowed me to know anything about our mother. At age 53 1/2 I found mother through social security. We were deprived of each other for 53 1/2 years. She gave me pictures of Patricia when she was about 10 months old. She was a beautiful baby. Mother also gave me pictures of our grandmother, grandfather, and great grandmother, as well as Patricia's baby book that she made for her. She has kept these things near to her for over 60 years. Our birthmother is eighty one years old now. I would dearly love to find my sister as I have no extended family anymore and would appreciate knowing of her. If anyone has any information on David or Jerry Kiefer originally born in Cape Girardeau (Southeast Missouri) hospital, mothers maiden name Anita Sanford, and fathers name David Kiefer, please email me right away. Last I heard they said they were somewhere in Arkansas doing construction, heard one of the boys went in the service. Anita had them adopted out or sent to a foster home back around 1979-81 and no one has ever seen them since or had a clue is to why she done this. They had contacted her back in 1994-95 I heard, and haven't been heard from since. I am their mom's sister, I would be their biological aunt. But no one wanted Anita to do this or had no clue she was even going to do this, I would like to get in contact with the boys and keep in touch, and reunite with them as soon as possible? Jerry Kiefer's birthday was Aug. 7 1974, David Kiefer's were Aug. 21, 1973. I am tring to locate my birth father. I do not have very much to go on and this has made my search extremely difficult. I know that his name is Edward Clinton Brown or Browne. I was told that he may be living in the Indianapolis Indiana area. OI tried looking up all the Edward Browns in this area. I came up with 30. I tried writing to each but did not recieve any responces. I iknow that he lived in Whiteland Indiana during the years of 1965-atleast 1967 ( it may have been longer). He had another child with my mother , Linda Mae Lisby. I know that he knew about my brother Clinton but am not sure that he knew Linda was pregnant for me. He, I was born on 12/10/65 in St. John's Hospital in Detroit, Mi. My last name at birth was possibly Unger. Or somthing that sounds close to Unger. My first name given at birth was Christopher and middle name Todd.
My Mother supposedly kept her pregnancy a secret from her family as much as possible.
She was single at the time of my birth.
She had been previously married in 1955 and divorced in 1962. From this marriage I have three siblings. A brother born approx... 1955, another brother born approx...1957,and a sister born approx...1961. My family lived in Detroit, Michigan.
I also know my mother was born in 1935.
She was raised pretty much alone by her father and has two brothers. Her mother was an alcoholic and left the family when she was very young.
My mother and her father both at one time worked at a donut company in Detroit.
She graduated Mana Cum Laude from high school in Detroit in approx...1953.
At the time of my birth, her two brothers were married and raising their families in Dearborn, Mi.
One of her brothers worked at a parts department and the other for General Motors ? Division.
I have received my "unidentifying information" from the court system and this is how I know these details.
