I have two brothers adopted out. One brother born 1963 and one in 1953-1954. My other sister and I have begged our mother to give us the info we need to search. She refuses to help. Their first names MAY be {{NOT CERTAIN}} Terry Lynn and Danny or Daniel. The boy in 1963 could have surname of walker or taylor. The birth dates May be 16 Aug 1953 and 13 Feb 1963. The birth dates are NOT May 1956 –Jan 1957 (was pregnant with me), and its NOT late 1958- July 1959 (was pregnant with another sister).

I know that is not much to go on. Her maiden name was Taylor and she lived in Riverside Ca at the time of both births. Mother: Carol Ann Taylor DOB: 25 Feb 1937 Riverside CA. Carol has been married three times that I know of. Carol has Used names of Walker, Howard and O’Neil. She was 17 for first boy and 26 for second

Marfan disease runs HEAVY through the family with about half the family having it. It sometimes skips a person but then their children will still get it. There have been several deaths. If you do not have it but a offspring does that explains it. I can send anyone a letter about Marfans. Just email me and it is yours

Maternal Grandmother was Katherine Exa (yes Exa not Eva) Bussey Taylor 1913-2007 born in San Jacinto died in Hemet Ca. Maternal grandfather was Andrew “Clyde” Taylor 1914-1999 born in Kansas died in Riverside. Most people did not know his given name was Andrew because he only used Clyde.

The Taylors lived at the same address for almost 60 years and were married 65 years when Andrew passed away: 1739 Mathews St, Riverside CA 92507. Carol grew up there.

Carol abandoned my Sister Belinda Sue Walker and I there in 1963 and was gone without a word 8 years. She is an alcoholic. Carol has lived in California, Minnesota, Texas and who can guess where else. She is currently in St Paul Minnesota.

The baby born in 1963 may have my dad listed as father. Phillip Edward Walker (1933-1972), Born in Indiana and died in Sacramento CA. Although I do not believe Phillip to be the father. Carol and Phillip married in 1956 (she was very pregnant with me) and divorced in 1963.

Carol has admitted the boys several times but refuses to give any real info on them. I am sick about this, as she is very ill and 71. When she dies there goes the only person that really knows. My grandmother admitted on her deathbed (2007) that she knew about both boys and that Carol (her daughter) went to a “Laying in Home” (home for unwed mothers) for both baby boys. She claimed to remember no details.

Hello. I'm searching for my birth father or his family. I was born 4/21/77 to Ann Gaughan who lived in Elmira, NY. No one in her family has any information as to the identity of my birth father. Ann was 26 at the time I was born and had a 4 year old son named Billy. she is unwilling to give me any information as to who my birth father may be so all I have to go on is my non-identifying information. I'm not even sure this man knew she was pregnant as the only person in her family who knew was her mother.
According to the non-identifying info. I have, my birth father was 27 at the time of my birth and employed as a mechanic (possibly in Elmira?)

If anyone has any info or any ideas on how I might be able to go about finding this person, I'd appreciate the info. I'm recently married and my husband and I are hoping to start a family soon - I'd like to be able to give my children as much info as possible on their background.

Our birth mom is Pauline Elizabeth Golden. Arthur is in a nursing home. I met him through God's grace a few years ago. I would be glad to keep this confidential. I really would love to meet her. was born in 1949/1950. May have blonde

I am looking for my husband's birth sister Jonquil Marie Baltimore b. 20 Oct 1946 in San Francisco, CA . Birth certificate shows Birth Mother Hazel Marie Hite worked as maid and your Birth Father Samuel Baltimore. Birth mother died on 12 Oct 1987 in Sacramento, CA. We do have a copy of Jonquil's birth certificate which means she was never adopted.

Jonquil's was advertised in the newpapers in Northern California i.e., Sacramento, San Francisco and other Nothern CA newspapers in the summer of 1946. Hazel made the decision to place Jonquil with the her prospectiv parents before her birth. Her prospective parents lived in San Francisco where Jonquil was born.

Jonquil may have been placed the California foster system. As her birth mother, Hazel Marie Hite, refused to allow her children to be adopted. We do have a copy of Jonquil's birth certificate, which tells us she was never adopted.

Jonquil's foster mother came to my father-in-law's shop Durrett's ABC&E in Roseville, CA. Her foster mom wanted the children, Jonquil & her brother, Norman, to grew up knowing each other. My father-in-law, W T Durrett, later regreted his decision to NOT have the children say in touch. When WT Durrett contacted Jonquil's mother, she and her husband had changed their mind, this could have been because of Hazel's influence.

Jonquil you have an older sister, Bonnie, and a brother Norman who would love to met you. (This is not there names now but there birth names), you also have a sister named Gloria Jean Baltimore b. 1942 who we are searching for.

Jonquil if you are reading this both your brother and sister would love to know you and your family. If not, we would love to give you medical information we have found on your birth mother's family.

I was born in 1955 at Our lady of victory, erie county New York. My mother was said to be about 18, dark hair, brown/hazel eyes, about 5'1 or so, was a secretary. Hi Everyone,

I hope someone can help. I was born in Los Angeles, California on September 14, 1980, and was adopted at 11 months old. Adoption went through Orange County. I have searched and located my birthmother in Oregon, but she hasn't answered any of my attempts at contact.

I also located 2 of my brothers from her marriage. We have been in contact since 2003. But I have another brother I'm still looking for. We were all born in California.

My birthmother, Jean Ellen Blanchette was born in Germany on January 20, 1960. Her mother's maiden name was Helga Hoffner. Her father was in the Military and was stationed there. When Jean was 13, she went back to the USA to live with her father in Texas. He and his second wife married in Kentucky. Jean stayed in Texas till 1979, then she came to California. She lived in many places in California till late 1995, when she moved to Oregon.

Hello, I am trying to help Ann locate her dad, PAUL
ELGIN FERGUSON and HALF BROTHER who was adopted out.
Her dad disappeared on Thanksgiving Day, 1958, from
Creve
Coeur, Illinois.
Ann believes that her father changed at least part of
his name because Social Security has had no info on
him
since a few months BEFORE he disappeared. She believes
he applied for a new social security number
and changed at least part of his name.

She knows that he bought a car in the name of P.E.
Ferguson a few days before he disappeared. His name
was PAUL ELGIN FERGUSON, so he might have changed it
to something like Paul Eugene or Peter Elgin..that way
he could keep the same initials..and then he probably
changed his birthday by a few days.

MINNIE ANN PHIPPS disappeared with him and is the
mother to her half brother, but no relation to Ann.
Her dad was born in Trenton, Grundy Co., MO. on April
9, 1924(they lived in Creve Coeur, IL., at the time he
disappeared with Minnie Ann PHIPPS. She changed her
name to ANN PHIPPS CARCUFFE in 1984. A few months ago
she learned that she died of a heart attack in 2003 in
Paris, TX).

Ann knows that her dad and Minnie Ann went to Alameda Countynty, CA when they left Illinois, as she filed for
her SS card in 1959 in California and the record she
has says "FERGUSON BABY/PHIPPS, mother, live birth,
June 9, 1959, Alameda Co., Ca" is also in California.
The state of California Dept. of Social Services says
that have no record of an adoption.

I don't know if this helps, but thought I should add
some of dad, Pauls' genealogy, just to ring a bell.
His father's name was Roy ELGIN FERGUSON and his
mother was Pauline Thompson Woods FERGUSON, both of
Trenton, MO.. His grandparents were William Thomas
Ferguson, born in Kingston, Ontario and Phoebe Rachel
McCoy, born near Laclede, MO.

If some one has any way of locating her dad, are
finding out the name/location of her brother, please
email her directly or post here, and I will forward it
to her, she has been searching over half her life
trying to find them, and thinks maybe her dad is
deceased, surely by now he would have at least
contacted someone in the family, but would like to
know for sure, and would love to find her half

UPDATE_ someone sent this below, however we still have not got any closer to answers, as the state of CA still hasn't sent paperwork that Ann requested:

Doing a search by date of the California Birth Index, I discovered (3) births in Alameda County on that date with the mother's maiden name listed at PHIPPS--quite a coincidence. All of them list only one name, which is unusual. Most have an entire name listed.

Was told that the people who may have adopted her were the surnnames, Walz for the dad, and his wife, maiden name Parker, we have no first names for the adopted parents, if they were in fact the adoptive parents. Trying to find out a possible marriage, so we can track her down that way. Debra also had a brother that was adopted out, but as he was born in Ada, Ok. there may be no connection to CA. His name at birth was Guy Lynn Towler, born we think, 11-4-51, that date was in a family bible, but as the grandmother who entered it was elderly, could have been slightly mistaken on the month and day. The birth parents to both children were Cleburn Spence Towler and Hazel Marie (Boyd)Towler. They were divorced in 54, and Cleburn has since passed away, not sure what ever happened to Hazel. Hazels' mom was named Adele(Adelle?)Boyd?, and either Hazel or her mom had a brother named, Billy Boyd. If anyone could help find any leads on this family, it would be much appreciated.

Hello, I am trying to help Ann locate her dad, PAUL
ELGIN FERGUSON and HALF BROTHER who was adopted out.
Her dad disappeared on Thanksgiving Day, 1958, from
Creve
Coeur, Illinois.
Ann believes that her father changed at least part of
his name because Social Security has had no info on
him
since a few months BEFORE he disappeared. She believes
he applied for a new social security number
and changed at least part of his name.

She knows that he bought a car in the name of P.E.
Ferguson a few days before he disappeared. His name
was PAUL ELGIN FERGUSON, so he might have changed it
to something like Paul Eugene or Peter Elgin..that way
he could keep the same initials..and then he probably
changed his birthday by a few days.

MINNIE ANN PHIPPS disappeared with him and is the
mother to her half brother, but no relation to Ann.
Her dad was born in Trenton, Grundy Co., MO. on April
9, 1924(they lived in Creve Coeur, IL., at the time he
disappeared with Minnie Ann Phipps. She changed her
name to ANN PHIPPS CARCUFFE in 1984. A few months ago
she learned that she died of a heart attack in 2003 in
Paris, TX).

Ann knows that her dad and Minnie Ann went to Alameda
County, CA when they left Illinois, as she filed for
her SS card in 1959 in California and the record she
has says "FERGUSON BABY/PHIPPS, mother, live birth,
June 9, 1959, Alameda Co., Ca" is also in California.
The state of California Dept. of Social Services says
that have no record of an adoption.

I don't know if this helps, but thought I should add
some of dad, Pauls' genealogy, just to ring a bell.
His father's name was Roy Elgin Ferguson and his
mother was Pauline Thompson Woods Ferguson, both of
Trenton, MO.. His grandparents were William Thomas
Ferguson, born in Kingston, Ontario and Phoebe Rachel
McCoy, born near Laclede, MO.

If some one has any way of locating her dad, are
finding out the name/location of her brother, please
email her directly or post here, and I will forward it
to her, she has been searching over half her life
trying to find them, and thinks maybe her dad is
deceased, surely by now he would have at least

Surprise sibling's card at City Clerk's office in Vermont

I found an index card and birth certificate for a sibling my mother was never told about. She spent most of her childhood in foster care so I was always suspicious, so I started at City Hall and went on a scavenger hunt.

There was a notation on the card, "Burlington," meaning he was not born in my mother's hometown. I contacted the Lund Family Center via e-mail with my findings and they never responded.

I am considering going to Burlington City Hall and looking at the bound chronological birth records for him. Does anyone have experience doing this they wish to share? I was wondering if this is simply a case of finding a baby boy born on the same day at the same time of my uncle to learn his adopted name. Is that information preserved exactly, or are the date and time of birth slightly altered, to prevent snoops like me finding an adopted relative?

12 -4- 1953 in NUECES COUNTY .. had a baby girl on September 8 1971 in San Diego Ca ...gave her up for adoption .

Have alot of info on her but trail runs cold and cant find anything on her after 2002 where I have a last known address in Eugene Oregon where she was married to a Anthony wayne Jones ...

ANY help would be appreciated ... I need someone who can do a RECENT search for addresses and possibly phone numbers ...

My Father was Derwood Clark. He once showed me a picture taken in 1977 of his ex-girlfriend and her daughter. I'm guessing her daughter was about my age. Somewhere between 16 and 20 years old. This girl looked very much like me. At the time I blew it off. I am now 47 and have looked at the photo again. I'm pretty positive, this girl is my half sister. I know they were in Des Moine, Iowa. The girls name is Barbara, I'm sure her parents are no longer alive, like mine. I'm thinking my Dad and her mom must have gotten together about the same time I was conceived. Probably the late 50's or early 60's. My dad had told me he had spent the night with this woman the night before he married my mom. This was 1945. I think they must have met up somewhere over the years. He never said this was his daughter, he figured I had no interest in knowing. At this time I have no last names. The girl's aunt's name was Eileen. Anyone have any idea who thi is, or how I might find Barbara?

I am looking for my mother inlaws sibblings. I know that there names were Josephine and Christina, and that one was born in 1941- probably in Duluth,MN. There mother's name was Frances Lackner. Although, the family spells the last name three differnet ways (Lakner,Lackner,Lockner) , and I am not sure which spelling would have been used. I believe that Josephine and Christina were first placed in foster care, and I am unsure as to whether they were adopted or not.
