Would be very interested if you find the "fix" in Ancestry.com. There is some confusion. I have been told by a customer service rep. there is no merge function of duplicate individuals that exists directly in Ancestry.com tree.
The so-called solution is to export your tree back to the source and do the merge there; and upload again to Ancestry.com. What happens to photos and stories in Ancestry.com?
Why doesn't Ancestry tree have a merge function for this situation? Help anyone??
