The Chicago Tribune has done what most larger newspapers havedone- figured out that genealogists will pay for obits, so they've taken control of their archives. It's at
http://pqasb.pqarchiver.com/chicagotribune/advancedsearch.ht... and you can search for free, which comes in handy for big stories, but to get the whole story or obit, it costs.
