I've no idea what Ancestry has done with this database. Years ago BEFORE Ancestry took contol, I was able to find obits/death notices for numerous ancestors in the Chicago Tribune, I can't find ANY of these people when searching this database now.
Searching newspapers has proven useless to me so far.
