Anyone use the leather bound albums to print up your family trees? I can believe there are no references to this in a topic. This thread is suspiciously empty. Anyone??

Though I have tried numerous times and used every link I could find (both from within FTM 2009, from Ancestry.com and blogs with links)to the ANCESTRY PRESS, not once could I get to any pages that allow me to create a product on line.

Is anyone else having this issue?

remove spouse line on poster

Hi,

I am putting together a family tree poster for our expected child. I started with the 'Standard' poster type on Ancestry Press. I selected 24x18 size with the hope of filling in five generations. There is a line under the 'home person' that is intended for a spouse. I want to remove that line since it has no relevance to this project. When I view the sample posters, there is one example (Sara Michelle Curry) that appears to eliminate this line. But how? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

cropping newspaper article

Even though I have tried to use the "new and improved" version of Ancestry, I can crop out a newspaper article, but can't get it to print out large enough to read. I also tried to highlight the section, cut and paste, but no luck. Is it possible?

Poor Qualitty Printing

Every time I've tried to print my family tree poster project, it's a disaster. The resolution on a 36x24 poster is 30 DPI - 10% of what an average laser printer considers legible. I've tried both normal and "high quality" printing with the same results. In addition, no matter what I do the image will not print properly on the page. If I print as is, the image prints in landscape on a portrait page. If I try to change to a landscape page, the image prints in portrait. I'm using a Mac with OSX, Firefox 3 and an Epson R1800.
